Traveller Timbers is a cottage industry based in the rural village of Little Weighton which is situated at the foot of the East Yorkshire Wolds some 30 miles from the historic city of York.
As the Morris Minor reaches 60 years of motoring their popularity seems stronger than ever.
Here at our workshop we have found the popularity of the traveller is equally on the increase, so much so that we are able to specialize exclusively in the manufacture and fitting of traveller woodwork. We make frames and doors to their original specification from fully seasoned and carefully selected English Ash, so you can be assured of a quality and lasting product to rekindle your Traveller.
Traveller Timbers are proud of the many travellers we have restored in recent years. These are full restorations including woodwork, paintwork, interiors, engine and transmission. and all mechanics serviced to MOT standards. We are happy to fit upgrades to our cars as required. Please have a browse of our gallery page to see some examples.
Among our recent cars is Mike Dean's multiple trophy winning Traveller which has been featured in several magazines. We'd be happy to discuss turning your own Traveller into a car of similar standard.
